Last year, after becoming obsessed with “Coloring Book“, I saw Francis and the Lights open for Chance the Rapper at The Fox. It was Fraggle Rock with soul. One of the best shows.
Now these two released “May I Have This Dance”. It has 80’s Phil Collins vibes. A haunting call in the background (similar to the vocals in Kanye’s “Wolves“). Lay down and put it on repeat. Allow your head to nod involuntarily.
