Malmö, my current stop, is in Skåne County.     Skåne – pronounced scon-uh. Listen here. A province on the west coast of Sweden, close to Copenhagen, Denmark. I’m staying with the parents of my cousin’s fiancée. Started the day with a seemingly traditional breakfast of plain yogurt, homemade muesli (I got the recipe), strawberries and roobios tea.

Went to Malmöhus to tour the castle and art museum (aka Malmö Museer).

There was an incredible textile exhibit – Textila Undertexter (Textile Subtexts).

“Sill & Potatis” created from stamps. Love!

Stumbled upon a great lunch spot called Eida. Lots of fresh and picketed veg options for salads. Also a crazy good carrot cake that I didn’t take a picture of 😩. It was like a cake and toffee pudding had a pastry baby.

Most everywhere I go people ask where I’m from. Turns out being from Atlanta is a great conversation starter. Talked about Kid Cudi and Trap music with the guy behind the counter at the restaurant.

In the afternoon I walked from the harbor down Ribersborgsstranden, the beach. It was a mix of rocks and sand meeting clear blue waters. People were swimming and sunning along the coast. I stepped in for a few minutes. Icy icy waters.
