I’ve never biked so much in my life. Probably did over 10 miles the day we met up with a family friend who lives in Malmö. She led my cousins and I on a bike tour through the city. First a windmill in Kungsparken.
We rode through the park and a gnat got in my eye. Note: always wear sunglasses when riding a bicycle, even in the shade.
Then we headed to Västra Hamnen, previously an industrial area now dominated by housing, coffee shops and people ready to bathe in sunshine. This is probably the third time I’ve visited the area in 7 days and yet I’ve seen something new each time.
Then we had pizza. Pizza is everywhere here. It has a thinner crust but plenty of cheese and Swedish toppings. For example the small pizza in the top center; it’s topped with sliced beef and Béarnaise sauce. I wasn’t a fan of the mayo-ish swirl but I’m glad I tried it.
