Time to switch hotels again. I tried to buy bus pass to Klädesholmen, an area of the west side of Tjörn, via the Västtrafik app but I couldn’t get it to work. Unexpectedly, the B&B owner offered to drive me because she knew I didn’t have a car.

I sat in my room at Salt & Sill planning the final days of this trip. How have I been away for 7 weeks already? I guess this is Day 50 of my trip.

Back to this hotel; it is ON the water. It floats. There’s a ladder into the sea outside my door. Wake from passing boats and jet skis cause it to rock.

For dinner, I sat at the hotel bar and played trivia with some Swedes. A fine-dining restaurant full of patrons singing Four Non Blondes.

While the MC tallied the score he played Lovely Day. I have happy and sad memories associated with the song. I love it and hate it. And when I hate it I love it. But I guess, a song can be whatever you need it to be at the time. Today, a lovely day.
