Took a boat out into the Indian Ocean. Held a sea urchin. Jumped off the top of the boat. Hung out on the sandbar in the middle of the ocean. Saw a couple camels. A good day for sure.
Diani Beach
Started the day with a swim in the saltwater pool. Stopped by the street shops to pick up a couple dresses and wraps then headed to Shimba Hills with this crew for some amazing views. And more swimming. And sunsets.
Day 11 – Karen
Karen - a suburb of Nairobi. Significantly fewer pedestrians compared to Nairobi. Lots of 4x4 SUVs, manicured lawns and gated houses. It's the site of the Karen Blixen house and museum. We left the guesthouse at 7am to have breakfast in Gilgil. Afterward we arrived at Hell's Gate National Park to pick up bicycles.
